Elliott Baer specializes in litigation, criminal defense, and business transactions. He negotiates complex business deals and drafts agreements on behalf of his business clients. Also, he manages complex internal investigations in response to civil litigation and criminal investigations.
He has successfully defended clients charged with conspiracy, mail fraud, wire fraud, money laundering, healthcare fraud, and securities fraud. Also, he served as General Counsel to a national food distributor and its transportation and logistics subsidiary.
He is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Dekalb County Bar Association, and the Transportation Lawyers Association.
Before law school, Elliott worked in both the public and private sectors. He worked in the White House, serving as Executive Assistant to President Clinton’s National Economic Advisor. Later, he worked as Senior Analyst at InterContinental Hotels Group.
Elliott graduated with highest pro bono distinction from Georgia State University’s College of Law. While in law school, he worked in the HeLP Legal Services Clinic and resolved legal problems affecting the health and well-being of sick children and their families.
